At house number 2, an imposing old residence with thick stone walls and large bright windows, a wheelwright once lived. Here, time seemed to stand still, leaving only the skilled hands of the city’s craftsmen to perform their art.

Every morning, the old wheelwright, a sturdy man with large, powerful hands that shaped wood into wonderful forms, would open his doors wide. He created wheels that were famous not only for being functional but also for being true works of art. A line of artisans stepped inside with pride: blacksmiths, wheelwrights, stonemasons, and potters, all carrying the marks of their craft on their hands, in their souls, and on their garments.

It is said that each of these craftsmen contributed their skill to the renovation of the house. Every room here tells its own story, creating a special link with local traditions and crafts. Today, Boutique Hotel CraftInn offers a unique and authentic experience for guests, combining traditional crafts with contemporary comfort.

The story of CraftInn leads us through the rooms of this old house, where every corner whispers a small piece of Sibiu’s past. At CraftInn, the walls carry the shadows of long-forgotten stories, and the wide windows offer views toward winding streets full of mystery and beauty.
